Classroom Release Time Procedure - Satellite Teachers

Classroom Release Time for Satellite Teachers is provided in order to allow teachers to attend to the following tasks:

• Plan
• Evaluate
• Report
• Professional Development
• Observations
• Readings/research
• Syndicate meetings
• Assessment
• An agreed use that the principal has approved

Teachers receive 1 hour per school week and this time will be built into the teaching allocation for the class, so that team teacher/s can release their fellow teaching member/s for this time at a time convenient to the running of the classroom.
