Strategic planning is a process which is intended to assist the school to improve the quality of the learning outcomes for all students at Arahunga Special School and Outreach Service. This process helps us to review plans and to consult with and inform the community.

Public Notice: Arahunga does not use seclusion or isolation rooms.

This practice was removed by the BoT and Principal. Further to this in 2015 all former isolation rooms were decommissioned.

The school no longer has any of its own isolation and seclusion spaces, most of these are now staff offices.
